Our bees forage primarily on clover, alfalfa and wild flowers, producing a very natural and flavourful honey, with few impurities. As we implement permaculture design to our property, we are maximizing the available food sources for our bees throughout the growing season, which reduces the need to feed processed sugars to the hives.
Due to our relatively secluded location, our bees have limited contact with other hives that could harbor disease and parasites. Having that separation from other tame bees allows us to keep our hives healthy with limited use of medications.
As we are in the initial stages of expanding our hives, the amount of honey for sale will be limited while quantities are available.
