NO SPRAYS - NO BS
Our produce is grown using natural fertilizer, which consists of a blend of cattle and chicken manure and compost from our farm. No synthetic fertilizers or pesticide chemicals are used. Although we are not certified organic, we utilize organic farming practices with all of our crops.
Our family eats fresh veggies straight from the garden, and we never have to worry about what is going into our bodies.
For 2018, we are planning to grow the following vegetables listed below. Vegetables will be sold throughout the summer at the 124 Grand Market in Edmonton. Farm gates sales and delivery are also available. Please contact us for pricing and availability, and to place orders. We are also pleased to announce that we will be growing cold hardy veggies through out the winter months with our newly acquired greenhouses.
2018 veggie list: Lettuce, Carrots, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Cabbage, Onions, Peas, Beans, Beets, Radishes, Rutabaga, Kohlrabi, Spinach, Kale, Chard, Parsnips, Potatoes, Corn, Squash, Gourds, Pumpkin, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Zuchinni, Arugala, Peppers, Leeks and HERBS!
WHAT IS IT?
CSA or Community Supported Agriculture is a way for you to invest in and support a farm.
You pay for the subscription up front, this allows for the farmer to purchase supplies for the upcoming growing season.
Once the gardens starts growing and producing, you begin receiving weekly boxes of fresh produce. The program runs on average of 12 weeks starting mid-July and running into September.
It's a great way to get involved and know where your food comes from!
Prices (total price for the entire season, paid up front - payments will be due March 31, 2018)
Small Boxes (feeds approx. 2-3 people): $400
Large Boxes (feeds approx. 4-6 people): $700
Add a dozen eggs to your CSA for an additional $60
Add a dozen eggs and meat (approx $30 worth each week) to your CSA for an additional $300
